21st Century Learning: Creating An Inquiry Based Classroom

This 25 hour module will help teachers develop proficiency in running an inquiry-based classroom in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment.

Inquiry-based learning is a process used to solve problems, create new knowledge, resolve doubts, and find the truth. Inquiry involves working with others and respecting a diversity of voices while seeking the best possible solution to the problem or answer to the question. The inquiry process can be individualized to meet student's interests and learning preferences, since students are no longer limited to traditional gathering of sources. Our students' ability to use technologies in critical and creative ways to further their learning distinguishes them as 21st century learners.
