Getting Started

New to the Faculty of Education? Welcome! Please use the steps below to set up your account for access to EDU services.

Follow these steps to get set up with access to York University – Faculty of Education.

1. Register to obtain your Passport York account.

  • How do I get it?
    • Click on “New Student Sign up” in  http://mms.yorku.ca (Manage My Services)Passport York Login - New Student 1
    • Log in using your student number for your username, and your date of birth for your password (in the format YYYYMMDD), then follow the directions to change your password after the first time you log in.

2. Get @my.yorku.ca (Undergraduate) / @yorku.ca (Graduate) email address (York University official email)

  • Click here if you are an Undergraduate student
  • Click here if you are a Graudate student

3. Get @edu.yorku.ca email address (Faculty of Education email)

4. Connect to York University’s Wireless Network- AirYorkPLUS: Passport York credentials is required.

5. Connect to your courses that have an online presence.

6. Computing Resources on campus

Follow these steps to get set up with access to York University – Faculty of Education.

1. Obtain employee ID through your offer letter or HR contact

2. Register to obtain your Passport York account.

  • Passport York authenticates you as a member of the York computing community, and gives you access to a wide range of Computing resources and services.
  • See instructions for setting up Passport York and Central Email Account for NEW EMPLOYEES.

3. Request set-up of Education Email account and equipment (computer, printer, storage) through Help Desk.

4. Connect to York University’s Wireless Network- AirYorkPLUS: Passport York credentials is required.
