Event Setup and Support

Education IT provides technical assistance and support for your on-campus Faculty event. Our service includes: setup and configuration of hardware, creation of guest WiFi accounts and technical support the day of your event.

Note: Please ensure that your venue and other necessities are booked separately.

Here’s how it works:
  1. Complete and submit the Event Setup form
    Helpdesk staff will contact you to confirm event details and availability of technology and services for your event.
  2. Meet with Helpdesk staff for a technology overview
    2 – 3 days prior to your event, a Helpdesk staff member will meet with you for a brief walkthrough of the technology to be used during your event. We will also provide you with supporting documentation and contact information you’ll need the day of your event.
  3. IT will work with you to ensure a glitch-free event
    Helpdesk staff will provide on-call or on-premises support, based on your needs, during your event.
